2017 Festival Info
Date: Sunday, September 17, 2017. Open to the public from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Venue: To be confirmed.
Number of festival vendors: 70 vendors, including 20 garlic farmers, 20 chefs and community chefs, plus specialty vendors, and speakers.
Vendor Set-Up: From 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM, Sept 17, 2017. Vendor Take Down: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sept 18.
Cooking: Indoors – only butane burners (not propane) and electrical burners allowed. Frying not permitted indoors. Outdoors propane burners allowed. There are limited electrical outlets outdoors.
Parking: City of Toronto metred street parking and city parking lots.
Festival admission: $5.00. Free for children under 12. Price includes FREE access to talks, presentations and activities. Fresh Ontario garlic, delicious food, and beer and wine are for sale.
Festival promotions: The festival is promoted through print, TV, radio and social media. Media promotions by GAT Public Relations.
