Thistletown High School Chefs


Thistletown Collegiate is a Toronto area high school intent on making a difference. Led by Culinary instructor Keith Hoare, the students are working on raising 75% of the funds required to send 18 students on a Culinary journey to Spain & France in 2015. Chef Keith believes that a student’s economic situation should have no bearing on their education experiences – he will be getting those students on this trip! Thistletown’s culinary students grow fresh organic produce in their very own 8,000 square foot garden and in their 25 hydroponic tower gardens. They plan on wowing Toronto’s Garlic lovers with their Garlic Lovers Salsa, fresh made to order pasta, and Ultimate Caesar Salad.
