04 Apr 2014 Limited Edition: Black Garlic and Vietnamese Coffee Ice Cream

In addition to the festival favourite Roast Garlic & Chocolate Garlic ice cream by The Chocolateria, the 2014 Toronto Garlic Festival featured a Special Limited Edition Black Garlic and Vietnamese Coffee Ice Cream! Toronto Garlic Festival visitors were surprised how complementary black garlic and coffee flavours are to the tastebuds. The flavour combination was similar to a frosted malt or Ovaltine flavour and it was absolutely delicious. Previous festivals have also featured a Garlic Buttered Popcorn flavoured ice cream. Taste tests are underway to determine what the 2015 Limited Edition flavour will be for Toronto Garlic Festival’s 5th anniversary, Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Artscape Wychwood Barns.
