Dali Chehimi is from Tunisia (North Africa) and started Casbah in 2012 as food-to-go specialized in North African food including Couscous, Tagines, Merguez (Halal lamb Sausage) and Camel burgers and Sliders. He managed Petrossian New York, Cucina and Rosborough’s restaurants under Chefs Arpi Magyar and Elaina Asselin. He was Maitre D’ for Michael Carlevale at Prego and Managed Sassafraz in Yorkville. At the Toronto Garlic Festival Chef Chehimi will serve Halal Garlic Merguez with Garlicky Harissa,
Camel Sliders with Garlic Caramelized Onions on Brioche Baby Bun. His Harissa will also be for sale.
